Arne Josefsberg

General Manager of Infrastructure Services, Microsoft

ArneˍJosefsberg.jpg Arne has been with Microsoft for 22 years and is currently responsible for the strategy, design and operation of the online infrastructure that forms the foundation for Microsoft's online businesses.  His areas of responsibility include: global data centers, networks, hardware and operating systems standards; and foundational shared system level services such as caching, load balancing, DNS, Active Directory, back-up/restore, remote management access, and  content replication.

In his time at the company he has held technical leadership roles in a number of areas, starting as a Technical Manager on the team that built the Nordic subsidiary.  He has worked in Product Support Services, leading OEM and ISV customer teams and OEM hardware compatibility certification; as well as leadership roles in Information Technology managing customer systems applications and IT infrastructure.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Arne worked in systems engineering at Intel Corporation, specializing in CPU, operating system and software consulting for Nordic customers. Arne holds a Masters degree in Physics from the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden.
