Stephen berard
Senior Program Manager, Windows Kernel, Microsoft

Stephen joined Microsoft in 2005 working as a program manager in the Windows group. He is currently responsible for driving server power management features in Windows. His focus is on reducing energy and operating costs through innovations in Windows. He actively participates as a technical member of the Climate Savers Computing Initiative and the Green Grid. Prior to Microsoft, Stephen worked for 10 years as a software engineer on distributed power and device management solutions. Stephen graduated in 1997 from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Computer Science.
